Radomir

Radomir comes from two old Slavic roots. Rad means glad or willing, and mir means peace. Together they give the sense the name still holds in Polish, miłujący pokój, which comes into English as joyful peace.

The name shares its building blocks with Mirosław and Sławomir, Polish compounds that shuffle the same pieces around. In daily life a Radomir answers to Radek. The full form waits.
