Dariia

Dariia is the Ukrainian spelling of a name whose meaning has been read as possessing or maintaining good. Older name lists place its origin in Hebrew, and the sense of holding onto what is good has followed it in that reading. Across the border the shorter variant, Daria, does most of the everyday work.
